Scholarship details
To be considered, you need to:
- Be classed as paying International fees.
- Achieve one of the following qualifications:
> A UK 2:2 bachelor's degree or equivalent internationally recognised undergraduate qualification
> A China Dazhuan qualification (75 and 3 years of work experience) or
> A UK 3rd-class undergraduate degree or equivalent will be considered if held with a verified Master's qualification.
- Have an offer to study one of our postgraduate taught or MRes courses starting in January 2027.
- Pay your £5,000 course deposit, and meet all offer conditions, before 30 November 2026.
The Postgraduate International Bursary offers a £4,000 tuition fee reduction for self-funded international students across our postgraduate taught (PGT) courses starting in January 2027.
This award is designed to support applicants with a UK 2:2 bachelor's degree, or equivalent internationally recognised undergraduate qualification, empowering you to advance your education at Brunel University of London.
The £4,000 tuition fee reduction is applied each year for a maximum of:
- one year for one-year full-time courses;
- two years for full-time courses running over two years, (for example, if you enrol on to a two-year full time postgraduate taught or MRes programme, the fee reduction will apply to both years of study).
The awards will be paid once for each eligible level of study, subject to normal progression criteria having been met (additional payments will not be made during a repeating year, regardless of the reason for repetition).
There is no application form to fill out. Apply for your postgraduate programme in the usual way, and you will automatically be considered for a Postgraduate International Bursary if you meet the eligibility criteria listed above.
