Frequently asked questions

How can I find out more information about the course I am interested in?

Our website has the most up-to-date detailed course information. You can also attend one of our Postgraduate Open Events to speak to academics, current students and support staff to get all your questions answered. It also gives you the opportunity to discover what it's like to be a postgraduate student at Middlesex.

What funding is available to postgraduate students?

You could be entitled to a loan from Student Finance of up to £13,206 for taught and research master's courses. At Middlesex, we also offer a range of scholarships and bursaries to recognise your academic achievement and potential. Unlike a loan, you don't have to pay them back. Find out more about our postgraduate funding options.

How will I be taught and assessed?

Teaching methods vary by course and may include practical learning, guest speakers and live projects. Assessments can consist of coursework, presentations and exams. Course pages on our website will include specific teaching and learning details for each course.

What support is available to me?

At Middlesex, you’ll have one-to-one access to academic mentors, wellbeing and finance teams and careers advisers who walk with you from your first lecture to your final step into work or next qualification.

Do you offer flexible study options?

Postgraduate life isn’t one-size-fits-all, so we don’t teach it that way. You’ll study full-time, part-time or remotely, with access to specialist software, online tools, and tailored learning materials.
